Modern British Food

Many visitors to Peterstone Court come for the food and the glorious setting, so we want to make sure you are suitably well fed and watered when you're with us…..The Conservatory Restaurant and our cosy bar are open everyday for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.

We like to keep things relaxed, informal and friendly so our guests feel right at home.  The restaurant is filled with light and the views through our atrium windows are breathtaking.  Outside the restaurant and bar features a wonderful, spacious  terrace with tables overlooking the beautiful valley and flowing river below.  What could be more relaxing than a summertime drink or outside dining on a beautiful evening.

It goes without saying that everything on our menu is handmade, sourced in season, at its freshest and from the local area.

Peterstone Court is run and owned by a group of restaurateurs rather than hoteliers, so its no surprise that food lies at the heart of the house – our family farm provides most of the natural tasting, free range meat and poultry used in the kitchens, supplemented by a loyal and brilliant network of hardworking, passionate local suppliers.

The restaurant at Peterstone has won many awards for its food and is recommended by all the major food guides.  Our head chef prefers to 'keep it simple, focus on taste and flavours,' and has a talent for creating dishes which combine traditional favourites with a modern British bistro-style.

Whether its a gourmet sandwich at lunchtime, an interesting seafood salad with a glass of something chilled for a light supper, or a three course a la carte dinner, Peterstone's Bistro and bar is always open for everyone who loves food.
