All four of our venues, which comprise the TasteInnWales group, are offering charities and community groups free venue space and subsidised hospitality at its locations. Most hotels and restaurants charge for room hire for fundraising and community group events.
However, TasteInnWales is waiving all standard room hire charges and will offer significant discounts on catering to support all its local communities across the Beacons – in Llandovery, Glanusk, Crickhowell and Brecon.
TasteInnWales Co-owner, Jessica Bridgeman said “We are always delighted to do our bit to help our local communities. Times are tough enough and its increasingly important that we all stick together and help each other out.”
Any group wishing to hold an event should contact the hotel managers:
The Castle, Llandovery; The Manor, Crickhowell; The Nantyffin Cider Mill, Glanusk; and Peterstone Court, Brecon.
We’ve gone back to the future with a happy sense of déjà vu as we can announce that we have taken over the Nantyffin Cider Mill at Crickhowell……again.
Well who’d have thought we’d be back? Our friends from the Glanusk Estate made us an offer it would have been rude to refuse and our partnership resumes once more.
So aahhemm. your attention please as we are delighted to officially announce our fourth restaurant right here, right now in the Brecon Beacons….. a drum roll please as the big mill wheel has officially started to turn again at The Nantyffin Cider Mill – we’ve been open for a couple of months and all is calm…
Believe it or not The Cider Mill was our first Beacons restaurant (in our distant not so youth) and we ran it for a gloriously happy 17 years. It was Wales’s first gastro pub and we tried really hard to set the standard for great food in the region. Lets hope we can do something equally inventive this time around.
